It's amazing how people can be so nice and caring to me... I didn't expect this day to be such nice and special. It's all because of your kindness.

Honestly my heart was (and still is) broken recently by a tragedy in real life, and I was not really in a mood to celebrate my own birthday. But how you do those is giving me a hopeful and warm feeling now.

In this year, a japanese big TV station had been opening the poll about Ultraman series. And now its final result has came out!

Personally, this result was unexpected and surprising. The newer heroes did a nice fight, and got the popular places with the classic legendary heroes.

Also I'm glad to see that many characters I supported got the good places. How could I image my favorite Hanejiro to get such honored 25th place among hardcore villains. :')

The show was so exciting and cozy. Many famous people who love Ultraman, and the actual Ultraman actors were talking how they loved Ultramans, monsters and their episodes. Even the general audience sent their messages about Ultraman series, so I could see how each characters were loved by people. More 56 years to go, Ultraman!

I've been in Core-membership in this site for long time. Then I think it's a good time to introduce some Core functions which I find useful. Also I plan to gift Core-membership for free to some people who want it! As I have much fragments, I'm afford to do that. :D

🔶 Some core functions which I use often and love:

🔸Inserting the images in the description - Core allows you to insert max 6 images in the description of your art. It makes your description colorful, and a good place to present your related art in a visually effective way. I use it for presenting my related art, so they help people to understand my art or characters more deeply.

🔸Submission schedule - I live in a country where has a big time difference between Europe and America area (where many of my watchers live in.) So usually it's hard for me to submit my art at the time when those people are active. Then I use this scheduling function, which can control your submission time. If you set up, it will automatically submit your art at the scheduled time. You don't need to open your PC every times you submit! Actually, when my art is done, I scheduled and left all of them to this system. So I can spend the rest of my time freely.

🔸Profile customization - Core allows you to put some customizable widgets and special skin on your profile. They will make your profile unique and personalized. By using this function, I dye my profile into my favorite warm color, and insert those widgets of showcasing my OCs and my favorite artists.

Many people may know that art block is a bitter thing.

Even I'm trying to draw regularly myself, I'm also the one who get it often. I know this feeling when I don't want to waste my time so hope to draw, but there aren't any good plans nor motivation.

However I have some ideas to do when having art block, and going to share my ways here to hopefully help you to find the light in the dimness of art block.

♦Browsing other artists' art

The other artists have a different sense from us, so watching their art may be a good stimulation and inspiration. Or when I watch a hard-working artist's hardwork, it kicks my lazy butt to move forward.

♦Re-drawing your old art If you can't think up a new idea to draw, you can borrow one from your past. You can pick up your old art and draw it again in your current style. Then it would be interesting to see how you changed now comparing to past. ♦Taking commissions, art trades, requests When you accept commissions (or art trades), it will be your duty, so you will have to draw no matter what. Ideas are given by the clients, so you can start drawing even if you don't have any personal ideas to draw. ♦Participating in events There are always various events hosted by the communities or the other artists. For example, DeviantArt often opens the tutorial events. Or the other artists open the event like "Draw This In Your Style". Or there is the meme like "6 fanarts". If you have a trouble of thinking up a good idea by yourself, those things from outside may give you a reason to draw. ♦Sketching reality You don't need a special imagination when the real world already draws itself in front of you. If you sketch the real world, that practice will be your power for the future because you can learn a lot of basic things (like perspective) from the real world.
